What it means to be positioned in the Gartner Magic Quadrant 2022

A Magic Quadrant is a tool that provides a graphical competitive positioning of technology providers to help you make smart investment decisions. Thanks to a uniform set of evaluation criteria, a Magic Quadrant provides a view of the four types of technology providers in any given field:

• Leaders execute well against their current vision and are well-positioned for tomorrow.
• Visionaries understand where the market is going or have a vision for changing market rules but do not yet execute well.
• Niche Players focus successfully on a small segment or are unfocused and do not out-innovate or outperform others.
• Challengers execute well today or may dominate a large segment but do not demonstrate an understanding of market direction.”1

What you need to know about the report

From our understanding of the report, it isn’t meant to tell customers which vendors they should choose but rather to help them narrow down their options. We believe the report is well-known in the enterprise architecture industry, especially among our customers. When they needed to invest in an enterprise architecture platform, they used the report to help them decide. The report provides an overview of the vendors in the market and helps them determine which one fits their needs best. We feel, in this case, Bizzdesign.

This year, the market outlook is different. The enterprise architecture market is crowded with software vendors. Bizzdesign was evaluated against 15 other vendors in the report, with nine recognized as Leaders.
