BVAs are fixed-price packages that include world-class consultancy, training with the BiZZdesign Academy, and access to predefined resources.
We actually recommend that all new customers adopt the fast-track BVA approach because it helps to lay the foundations of an effective, well-embedded EA team while at the same time delivering valuable information to support strategic and operational decision making. Accelerators allow you to leverage the high level of expertise and counseling within BiZZdesign, which is critical in ensuring rapid and steady progress.
Their prescriptive nature supports value realization in a quick and risk-free manner, which is why our Business Value Accelerators guarantee well-defined outcomes in a specific timeframe. BVAs concentrate years of experience into a singular service offering, providing access to a wealth of best practices developed across hundreds of successful implementations. There are 3 Business Value Accelerator tiers available.
Start: 8-week duration
This entry-level BVA package is aimed at single-team implementations. Usually, a Start accelerator is employed during low-cost projects that are defined by limited requirements in terms of data import and analytic output, as well as a lack of any plans to roll out to a broader stakeholder community in the near future.
Core: 12-week duration
The medium-level package enables the core team to use and manage the tool, but also prepares them to be able to successfully roll out the solution to a larger stakeholder base. The Core Accelerator is focused on a single Domain Module (e.g. Enterprise Architecture, Application Portfolio Management, Agile & Architecture, Capability-Based Planning).
Enterprise: 18(+)-week duration (with each Domain Module adding an additional 6 weeks)
This is the most comprehensive package available, featuring plug-in Domain Modules that allow clients to scale up according to their needs. Time and again, the Enterprise accelerator has proved an invaluable enabler during large enterprise transformation programs, where the domain scope is wide and the pool of stakeholder is diverse. This in-depth engagement provides extensive support and guidance for the core EA team, the domain architecture teams, as well as the business planning teams.

This light-touch engagement ensures you drive the initiative once the initial goals have been achieved, with BiZZdesign consultants only checking in at regular agreed upon time intervals to run an assessment of progress. The result of the assessment clarifies whether you are on the right course or not. Additionally, it also helps with events such as bringing in new staff, or implementing a new strategic priority.
