Marc Lankhorst

Managing Consultant & Chief Technology Evangelist

Marc is Managing Consultant & Chief Technology Evangelist at Bizzdesign. He helps shape Bizzdesign’s vision and market development, and advises organizations on digital business design and enterprise architecture. He has more than 25 years of experience as an enterprise architect, trainer, coach, and project and team manager.

Marc has managed the development of the ArchiMate® modeling language since its inception and continues to lead its evolution within The Open Group ArchiMate Forum. He is the lead author of Enterprise Architecture at Work and Agile Service Development, a regular speaker at international conferences, and a recipient of The Open Group President’s Award 2024 for his contribution to the ArchiMate standard.

Marc holds an MSc in Computer Science from the University of Twente and a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Groningen.
