FAQs
Federal agencies can reduce IT costs without disrupting mission-critical services by connecting each application to its cost, ownership, mission relevance, technical health, risk, and dependencies. This surfaces duplication, unnecessary complexity, and lower-value investments. Agencies can then confidently decide what to retain, modernize, consolidate, migrate, or retire, understanding mission impact before any cost decision. With preconfigured support for applying the Federal CIO Council Application Rationalization Playbook, the Bizzdesign Alfabet U.S. Government Accelerator helps agencies take this structured approach and free resources for higher-priority investment.
Federal agencies decide what to modernize, consolidate, or retire by assessing each application against mission importance, cost, technical health, risk, and dependencies, not urgency alone. This means identifying where technical debt, cost, or operational friction is highest. It also means understanding what else depends on a system before changing it and comparing options across the portfolio rather than treating every legacy system the same. Bizzdesign Alfabet provides this connected portfolio context, helping agencies prioritize funding where it has the strongest mission impact.
Federal agencies reprioritize IT investments when mandates or budgets change by maintaining a current portfolio view of applications, technologies, and dependencies. Bizzdesign Alfabet brings this context together, helping agencies quickly see downstream consequences before reallocating resources. They can connect strategic initiatives to the technologies that support them and compare trade-offs across competing investments with full visibility into the impact. This supports continuous reprioritization as conditions change, instead of rebuilding the same analysis for each annual planning cycle.
Federal agencies can manage AI investments alongside their existing IT portfolio by assessing them in the context of applications, technologies, infrastructure, suppliers, strategic initiatives, costs, and risks. Bizzdesign Alfabet provides this broader portfolio view, helping agencies identify duplication, fragmented spending, dependencies and portfolio impact before scaling or adding new AI capabilities.

No. FedRAMP certification does not itself grant an agency an Authority to Operate (ATO) for Bizzdesign GovCloud. It provides a FedRAMP-reviewed security package that the agency can use as part of its own risk review and authorization process. Each agency remains responsible for deciding whether to issue an ATO and addressing any agency-specific requirements.
